About
Throughout our years as readers, bloggers, and bookstagrammers, we’ve noticed very few South Asian books, authors, and creators in the spotlight. We wanted to change this, and create a community of individuals who are passionate about highlighting the South Asian experience through the books they read, write, and share with the world. The goal of this project is to create a space where South Asians can come together and support each other, and also be the first to comment on literature and media that features us as main characters.
How can I join?
1. You must be of South Asian descent (Indian, Pakistani, Sri Lankan, Afghanistani, Nepali, Bangladeshi, Maldivian, or Bhutanese) and have a platform where you talk about books, whether it be a blog, bookstagram, booktube, etc.
2. Please fill out this form, where you can share your information to be added to the directory.
3. By filling out the form to join, you are granting us permission to include the name and link to your platform in this directory. If there is any information that you do not wish us to share with authors and publishers, please let us know in the form! This will in no way inhibit your appearance in the directory 🙂
4. Make your membership official by grabbing the button and displaying it on any visible part of your platform!
- Book Blogs: display it on your sidebar or another visible area of your home page!
- Bookstagrams: display it in your highlights, and use the linktr.ee link!
- Booktubes: add the linktr.ee link to your bio or description box!

If you’re an author or publisher, seeking South Asian voices to review your novel, please contact me with your request by emailing me @book.noted, and I will gladly forward you a copy of this directory. In your email please include the following:
- Subject: SABC Directory Request
- Position and relevant affiliations
- Whether or not you’re looking for a specific type of creator (book bloggers, booktubers, bookstagrammers)
- Reason for requesting the directory, and what you intend to use it for
